Where I Come From

Twelve years of building for other people's clients

I started in website design and development, and for more than twelve years most of my work came through marketing agencies. That meant building for the businesses agencies serve: plumbers, roofers, HVAC companies, landscapers, small e-commerce stores, the kinds of owners who are good at their trade and buried in everything around it.

After enough of those projects, a pattern was hard to ignore. The website was rarely the problem. The problem was what happened after the lead came in. Calls went to voicemail. Quotes sat in a drafts folder. Follow-up depended on somebody remembering. The agency would deliver a beautiful site, and the owner would still lose the job to whoever called back first.

So for the last three-plus years I have focused on that part instead: the handoffs, the follow-up, the admin that piles up after dinner. That is the work Alpenglow AI does now.

How I Work

Diagnose first. Build one thing. You own it.

I do not sell packages. Every engagement starts with a two-week Clarity Audit because I have watched too many owners buy a stack of tools before anyone checked which problem was actually costing them money. Most of the time it is one or two specific places, not everything.

When we build, I build inside the tools you already run. Your phone system, your CRM, QuickBooks, Jobber, Housecall Pro, whatever it is. No new software to learn. And when it is done, it is yours. No platform lock-in, no retainer you have to keep paying to keep the lights on.

Pricing is published. If the audit says the fix is not worth building, I will tell you that too.

What I Will Not Do

A short list, on purpose

• I will not automate something before I understand it. If your process is not defined yet, the audit will say so, and we will fix the process first.
• I will not put AI in front of your customers without a human fallback. Complaints, pricing exceptions, and anything with judgment stay with a person.
• I will not hand you a system you cannot maintain. Every build comes with documentation and a walkthrough for your team.
• I will not sell you a monthly plan you do not need. The retainer exists for businesses with more than one leak. It is optional.

I am based in Colorado Springs and most of my clients are along the Front Range: Colorado Springs, Monument, Pueblo, Woodland Park, and Denver. The work itself does not care where you are, though.
